THE PROJECT

Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is a global leader in commercial real estate. Created in 2018 through the merger of Unibail-Rodamco and Westfield, the company specializes in the development and management of shopping centers, as well as offices and convention venues. With a strong presence in Europe and the Americas, the group stands out for its commitment to innovation, sustainable development and customer experience.

The group called on Videlio to install its new Digital Dream at the very heart of the Westfield Les 4 Temps shopping center in Paris La Défense, the largest immersive and interactive screen in Europe. The retailer wanted to offer its visitors an interactive, immersive experience, using a LED device to broadcast, in 360° vision, information about the center, advertising campaigns and immersive artworks. A truly unique and original experience, the fruit of the work of our Videlio-Scenotechnique teams.

THE CHALLENGES

The aim of this unusual installation is to offer visitors to the Westfield Les 4 Temps shopping center an innovative, entertaining and immersive experience. This type of screen will broadcast artistic content to take the audience on a journey, re-enchanting the customer experience, as well as advertising films.

The main challenges for Videlio on this project were, on the one hand, the architectural work on the structure and its installation in the building, and on the other hand, the night work, which was compulsory and necessary in order not to disturb the retailers, as the shopping center is open every day, all year round.

SOLUTION PROVIDED

Videlio worked closely with the Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield teams to define, conceptualize and deploy the project without having to close the shopping center. To meet the Group’s needs, and thanks to a perfect synchronization of the teams, Videlio equipped the Westfield Les 4 Temps shopping center with the largest digital and interactive screen in Europe, taking care of all the LED, audio and associated control room components:

250m² LED screen, divided between two crowns and a totem pole:

o 37 million pixels

o Convex and concave curved screens for 3D effect

12-channel immersive audio solution

Videlio’s teams also provide monitoring, maintenance and other ad hoc services throughout the year, as required.
