Guyaspace museum and Videlio : A Technological Immersion in the Heart of Space
The Guyaspace Museum, located at the Guiana Space Center in Kourou, offers an immersive dive into the world of space exploration, with a particular focus on satellite launches. The aim of the project is to raise public awareness of space issues through interactive and immersive experiences. Videlio was chosen to integrate and commission the various technological installations, guaranteeing an engaging and enriching visit for all generations.
The Guyaspace museum, a truly immersive experience
Technological solutions implemented
– Global technological installation: Installation of a network of 60 machines, mainly PCs and BrightSigns players, to manage all the devices.
– Creation of immersive spaces: Design of a central space called “La Clairière” with double portrait projection, spatial sound and light show, recreating the stages of rocket assembly and launch.
– Interactive devices: Kiosks for scanning and animating rocket drawings, plus a touch wall for selecting films about space missions.
– Automation and centralized supervision: Control of all installations via tablets or from a central control room, facilitating day-to-day management of the museum.
– Local support and maintenance: Videlio trained a technical team on site, guaranteeing continuity of operation after the integration phase.
In this way, Videlio brought to life a dynamic, accessible and interactive museum experience, enriching spatial discovery while facilitating the day-to-day management of the installations.
