Videlio Switzerland was commissioned to equip the sites of the University of Geneva, in order to be able to manage the audio, video and data systems of several auditoriums of the Faculty of Sciences from a single room, by making all the auditoriums communicating with each other. For this, Videlio deployed an IP-based audiovisual system (Extron).
SOLUTION PROVIDED
On the one hand, the establishment of a management system allowing the management and supervision of all the equipment has been deployed. On the other hand, a NETGEAR switch network offers total system redundancy, which provides backup to the installation in the event of network malfunctions.
This made it possible to give the installations a facelift, both for teachers who have to use the new system and for room managers in the event of a larger meeting.
